The Good Night (2007)

Gary, a musician, is trapped in an unhappy relationship with his live-in lover, Dora. He becomes enthralled with a beautiful seductress who enters his dreams, and tries to control his dream-state so he can spend more and more time with her. When Gary sees his mystery woman's face on a bus billboard, he discovers she is real, and fate brings him an opportunity to meet her.

A surprise: wonderful script and developed characters turn in an originally funny and moving tale about love and dreams--and Cruz is hot

wow umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a really good movie 2 watch...imn a simon pegg fan cuz i think he is a legend n he is a really good comedy actot...this has got a really good cast of actors/actressess throguhout this movie...i think that martin freeman plays a good part throughout this movie...its a good romance/comedy/drama movie 2 watch...i think that danny devito is good throughout this movir as well...i think that the director of this romance/comedy/drama movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie..this is an enjoyable movie 2 watch n i think that keith allen (father/parent of the singer lily allen) plays a good part throughout this movie..i also think that jarvis cocker (lead singer of the band pulp) is good throughout this movie..this is a good raomance/comedy/drama movie 2 watch its really enjoyable n its good

It's no where near as bad as everyone is making it out to be, trust me. Martin Freeman is brilliant (as always) as is the rest of the, perfectly casted, cast (though of all of them, Simon Pegg steals every scene he is in). Gary and Dora's relationship feels very real, and shows how neither of them are completely innocent in the decay of their relationship as well as when Gary has his first dream about Anna it helps the audience to see why he would wish to continue them. The story is a bit contrived but still well written and engaging enough. I was shocked towards the end but they slapped on a predictable final scene (the last shot is completely unnecessary). But overall, I'd say it is definitely worth a look.

Me encanto la idea de poder controlar los sueños. Creo que es algo que todos quicieramos poder hacer en algun momento. Vivir y hacer lo imposible. Muy buen concepto.

Thuroughly interesting film, but it is missing something. Always engaging and great performances here as well. Worth a look for the indie film lovers.
