Startling relevant, darkly hilarious. This movie has only improved with age. This should be pointed to a definition of great satire.

Witty, concise, smart, and most importantly, a comedy with substance. An outstanding satire, with a host of delightful performances by Peter Sellers.

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb is just the best black comedy I've seen. One of Stanley Kubrick's best movies. After watching it, you begin to regret that after this film Kubrick went to make films on serious topics. Beautiful adaptation of the Cold War. A great comedy that makes fun of the meaninglessness of the confrontation of 2 superpowers. The film was shot more than 50 years ago, and is still relevant.

This film is a masterpiece. If you allow yourself to separate from the humanity of it, the Cold War was probably the most absurd chapter in human history. Luckily Kubrick understood this and gave us something brilliant. Sellers is amazing, as usual. The phone call between the president and the Russian premier is hysterical. The most interesting thing about this movie is the fact that the suspense does build up the closer the plane gets to dropping the bomb. It takes talent like Kubrick to first paint that dark curtain and then shine a light on how silly it all is. This is absolutely one of my favourite films.
