The entire cast was fantastic and the 70s sure seems like a strange and other worldly place in this movie. It seems to be bursting with all the poignancies of life, death, sex and family. Very well done.

An instant classic! The best work by Ang Lee. As close to a perfect film as there has ever been. All the performances are great and the script is great. I finally bought the Criterion edition. A must see!!
