Bold, devastating and utterly beautiful, Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix have not just reimagined one of the most iconic villains in cinema history, but reimagined the comic book movie itself.

Wow, I have to say I left the theater not knowing what to think, and I mean that in the best way possible. Never have I seen a film blend both fantasy and reality together so well since Pink Floyd The Wall. Excellent work to the filmmakers and the amazing actors.

A exceptionally fantastic movie that was an absolute pleasure/pain to watch. It left me drained and lost for words, I hope to come back and edit this review after watching it again in a few weeks and letting it stew for a while. Go watch this movie, you won't regret it.

A brutally honest and heightened diatribe against the cruelty and laziness of the mental health support in our society today. A full-throat battle cry against injustice and the cruel circumstance of fate. A blistering, punishing, character study of a good-hearted but diseased mind as it quickly deteriorates. The second half of Joker is cinematic nirvana, frequently chilling, unsettling, fascinating, and harrowing. Todd Philips has finally directed something visionary and unforgettable. The best thing DC has done since The Dark Knight.
