fantastic! a great movie tapping on Japanese samurai way of life! and the love story may be modest but heart warming!

Although in a similar light to Twilight Samurai, this second instalment does not live up as well as the previous. However one of the differences I enjoyed was that the protagonist avenges his friend's and wife's deaths. A very well made film and a delightful cast, but TS still takes the cake.

A truly beautiful film musing over the familiar Samurai themes of Honour, Courage, Loyalty and Justice. Not an action film, with the exception of a showdown, this film is a touching and beautiful story.
