quite predictable....but still a nice movie if you're interested in Japanese cultures and Takuya Kimura

Compare to 'Hana yori mo naho', the idea of this movie is traditional. The plot is also simple and plain. Kimura has added merits to the film.

Very enjoyable and entertaining film in which a couple with thoroughly modern ideas tries to deal with the issues of unemployment, corruption, love, infidelity and honour in the context of a samurai society.

Final installment in samurai trilogy that features a blind swordsman in an utterly distinct fashion from the Zatoichi movies--a far more vulnerable and far more believable hero.

Not quite as good as Twilight Samurai, but still good. Could have used more Ken Ogata.
