Alternatively sharp-witted and bracingly sad, the film fixes firmly on Gershon's floppy, unruly bangs and never lets go.

There are a lot of realistic parts in this movie about what it's like in a hard rock band. Some scenes felt brutally real. Too bad the lyrics for the band's original songs weren't better, because the music wasn't half bad! Rock on!
