Brilliant, underrated film. Fantastic music, surreal, Bunuel-ish imagery and fine acting by a cast that plays multiple roles. Malcolm McDowell gives one of his best performances as a young coffee salesman who gets lost in the dog-eat-dog world of capitalism. Lindsay Anderson is such a witty and inventive filmmaker. Epic yet understated. Thank God for Netflix, or I probably might never have seen this unique movie.

from Lindsay Andersons trilogy of films, including the increadibly strange Brittania Hospital, with Mark Hamil, and the excellent IF !, love these films, anyone into surreal film should watch and enjoy it all..

"O Lucky Man! It tells you everything you need to know to survive in this life, the next and the next after that." - Grant Morrison. An absurd, surreal musical sequel-that-is-not-a-sequel to If...., a movie that was not a musical.

Arthur Lowe watching porn, Malcom McDowell suckling at a breast and a man's head grafted onto a pig. How can this not be one of the greatest films of all time!
