Perhaps the best movie ever filmed. It has everything: religion, sex, medical experiments, drugs, zen, corruption, a music band, chemical weapons... and a hydrogen bomb. Absolutely perfect. I already saw it +40 times and every time I do it I see a whole new film, but always dense and disturbing like any other, on its own slow pace.

Brilliant, underrated film. Fantastic music, surreal, Bunuel-ish imagery and fine acting by a cast that plays multiple roles. Malcolm McDowell gives one of his best performances as a young coffee salesman who gets lost in the dog-eat-dog world of capitalism. Lindsay Anderson is such a witty and inventive filmmaker. Epic yet understated. Thank God for Netflix, or I probably might never have seen this unique movie.

What an incredible film; people just don't dare to create films like this anymore. This was ahead of its time and so ambitious, and although not without its imperfections this adds to its appeal, what a beautiful, powerful work of art! The cast are for the most part excellent, Malcolm McDowell is WONDERFUL as usual. Lindsay Anderson, what a genius. The satirical wit of Sherwin & McDowell's (often uncredited even though it was very much a collaborative effort) script is SPOT ON. Have rambled enough about how much I love this without saying all that much about it, but if you like your cinema to be an experience, consist of multiple layers and basically take the piss in general, then watch this...stay a lucky man!

Excellent social satire. Probably dated by now, but still has many privileged moments.

You need a clear head to keep up with the story - but excellent.
