This is a film that truly does deserve a 100% rating it is so well crafted. From the very beginning you are hooked, and entranced by this exciting, charming, "spy" film. Before I talk about the film itself I just have to say the Hitchcock really doesn't look like a guy that makes films especially ones like this, but the movies that he has made have all been referenced throughout many television shows and movies, and so many other sources of media that you just have to seek out his films. Moving on with the film itself it stars Cary Grant as a man who is mistaken for a "super" spy, and when he tries to deny and explain the situation thats where events really start to spiral out of control. This is a film that is so smart, and is definitely better than most modern spy thrillers even better than the bourne films. I honestly don't think I've seen a better spy film than this one. You just have to see it.

A masterpiece. It's what cinema is all about. It's playing in the cinema again. Check it out. Watching it again and again tonight in UK, Sept 29th, 2012. Thanks again for the gift...my favorite film producer....EVER.

You know, whether the film is first- rate or not, that you are going to have fun there: because Hitchcock him- self is invincibly good fun and pretty well every- thing he touches becomes so too.

Finally got around to seeing this film. What a classic. It's labeled as a thriller but at times it feels more like a dark comedy with Hitchcock's style of humor showing up. Great performance from Cary Grant as well, this movie is definitely a must-see.

Should be in the top 5 of any movie list. Stands the test of time as one of the best movies ever made in the history of movie making. These critics have it at #17? You have to be kidding me. It should be at least in the top 3.
