This movie was pretty much mediocre to okay, from the story line to the acting. You kind of figure out the "twist" pretty much at the beginning of the movie, so no real surprises.

This movie was fine. nothing more.... It contained all the usual ingredients that make a horror. New family in town, an urban legend which no one should check out, pretty girls, people dying and to finish ... a twist at the end....so if you want to kill some time this movie is great for doing that.....

With Shannon Woodward (Raising Hope), Dave Franco (Scrubs), Katrina Bowden (30 Rock) and the story co-written by a relative of Adam Sandler, I had low, low, low expectations of this movie. Even so, I had expected something a little better.

Predictable, yes, like many movies in its field. It does however have the necessary scare, and it was nice to see fresh faces doing quite a good job here. The pace is constant, the characters only a bit flawless, so I give it a slightly positive grading.
