the most fascinating thing about this shocking and morbid little piece of art is how can the explicit scenes be so poetic, considering its gruesome nature. i am still in awe.

Spare and unwilling to overstate its point. Its style is European in all the ways that are often lazily deemed pretentious. But rarely are those pretenses so perfectly horrific.
