I never expected so much humour could be mined from the bombing of London during WW2 but this film manages it perfectly. This is one of the best films about life during the Blitz and I would recommend it to everybody.

A nice little film of life during the Blitz and how people coped despite nightly bombing, death and destruction.

EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD JOB OF RECREATING THE FEEL OF THE 1940'S WARTIME. TOUCHINGLY AND LOVINGLY TOLD, THE FILM HAS MANY POIGNANT SCENES. VERY WELL MADE, EXTREMELY WELL WRITTEN. THE CAST IS SUBTLE AND DOING A GREAT JOB.
