My wife and loved this wonderful movie!We laughed and also cried....it reminded of the real hardships of war...but also the joys of family and growing up!....this movie gets a 10!

seems largely forgotten now but thouroughly entertaining tale of child growing up in london during the blitz and joining gang that play amongst the bomb sites .the film has a very authentic feel to it and feels like you are back in the forties good direction and a great cast too perfect for a sunday afternoon though watch out for a couple of strong swear words but all done in good taste
