The Tree of Life (2011)

The impressionistic story of a Texas family in the 1950s. Espectacular. Una historia contada sobre todo visualmente. El mejor actor es la belleza (tomas claramente conjuntas de Malick y Lubezki). Sumamente ambiciosa, aunque no me parece que queda debiendo. Entre otras, es un canto a la dignidad y a la libertad.

Just as The Tree of Life is the sort of movie we rarely see, the kind of thinking it provokes isn't the kind we engage in regularly. Malick makes a strong case for the notion that perhaps we should.
