Mad Dog and Glory (1993)

Wayne Dobie is a shy cop whose low-key demeanor has earned him the affectionate nickname "Mad Dog." After Mad Dog saves the life of Frank Milo, a crime boss and aspiring stand-up comedian, he's offered the company of an attractive young waitress named Glory for a week. At first both are uneasy about the arrangement, but they eventually fall in love. However, the situation becomes complicated when Milo demands Glory back.

One of those movies you have to look hard to find in a movie store. You would think that this would be top notch if guys like DeNiro and Murray were in it. Although it isn't a bad movie it is certainly missing what DeNiro's character deires, guts.

Good movie with interesting roles with Robert DeNiro as a shy, wishing he was strong guy, while Bill Murray was the tough Mafia bad guy and Uma Thurman did a splendid job as Glory.

DeNiro when he still had IT. Bill Murray as a manipulative, backstabbing, but very personable hood! And Uma Thurman as the woman between them. Thoroughly enjoyed this, this trip down memory lane, when movies were movies.
