Well-done psychological drama/thriller(?). While the mysterious aspects of the film are probably none-too-surprising, the structure, direction, and cinematography of the film adds interest and bumps it up a level. Malik is fantastic, as always, in the lead roll.

Even when the film tarries perilously close to Fight Club "what is reality?" territory, it works to ultimately benefit the whole.

Nobody plays barely maintained sanity like Malek, it's fun to spot all the unintentional Mr. Robot parallels, and those unfamiliar with the show might be inspired to check it out.

Smith's idiosyncratic style isn't going to please everyone, but she deserves top marks for bold ideas and storytelling.

Luring and intriguing, this art-house film is one of a kind. Combining elements of a psychological thriller plus science fiction, this film sets out to hook the audience with a unique blend of cinema that appears to have become popular these days. What starts off a rather odd premise evolves into something more complex, as the film evolves and connects the dots together from what seems barely related montages of Jonah aka Buster and his life over the course of time. The last 30 minutes of the film hold the true answers, as every scene, dialogue, action, sound, song, tie into the greater story. Adina weaves together a masterful story of compelling mystery and heartbreak, intrigue and a powerful examination of the human condition. Rami Malek puts on a masterful performance, his grasp of a character that is unstable, sporadic and dangerous is compelling and inspiring. Adina and her crew use a combination of gripping cinematography and mystique music to create an atmosphere that very few movies can create.
