one of the best movies of all batman movies so far

This was a smooth film with the 4th generation Batman. I liked it. It was uncensored, there was blood, there was light profanity like using the word, hell. The action wasn't bad. The plot was decent. It's your typical Batman cartoon. New Jersey's favorite hero and crew had another outing, but there was no sign of Barbara, Gordon or the rest of the police ironically. No major Batman villain here, I don't even know how well known the antagonists are. The animation is superb, just traditional style.

overall it was a great movie but wasn't really Batman vs Robin. it was more of a view on how Robin needs to learn right from wrong.

This was pretty much a sequel to son of Batman. We now know that Damien lives with his father. He is struggling to keep a balance with Batmans morality and approach to dealing with bad people and what he was brought up to do by his grandfather and mother. This ends up with a little battle between the two that might have been influenced by the court of owls who are also introduced in this anime. I believe this is also loosely based on a novel and I for one did not know anything about the owl characters so was quite impressed with the whole story.

Batman VS Robin suffers from one of the most severe cases of the Law of Diminishing Ninjas I've seen since the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series finale. The film also (unsurprisingly) contains very little Batman versing Robin, and Batman also describes the odour of a ripoff Scarecrow gas that is then later said to be "odourless". But it's better than all but one of the past couple of entries into the DC Animated Film franchise, and has a wickedly creepy opening sequence. It's just a shame they couldn't keep it together for this whole Court of Owls re-imagining.
