I enjoyed the action. I just thought that Deathstroke was more bad a$$ since in the books he took on the JLA single handedly!

Hidden atop a secret mountain stronghold lies the League of Shadows and it's fearless leader, Ra's al Ghul. Together with his equally dangerous daughter Talia, he oversees a trained army of assassins with plans for global domination. But an uprising from within the league now threatens to shift the balance of power and sends Talia and her young son, Damian, fleeing to Gotham City. a great animated film highly recommended action from being to end good story line keeps you hook in. Damien and Batman have funny son and father moments. !!!

Solid 4 out of 5. Many changes were made to the comic storyline and I don't know why many of those changes were made, but within the context of the film it works. The story could have been fleshed out more and, unlike most movies, felt like it should have been longer. I wish DC did things like this for their live action movies. Their animation seems to beat most of the super hero live action movies made today in both tone and story.

Voice acting, animation and score are all on point. You can really tell how far DCU animation has come and the fight choreography is testament to that. The movements nearly can rival motion capture. It's animated choreography but the fighting is very convincing. Good drama as is always needed in Batman stories. The film did a great job introducing this lesser known story arc to those who haven't had the chance to read the graphic novel that inspired it.
