A terrible attempt at science-fiction/horror. The plot is ridiculous, the leeches are obviously humans in disguise (although I thought they looked adorable), and much of it is illogical. The acting and dialog was okay but lacked character. Fortunately it isn't any longer than it has to be.

I got this movie at the dollarama with "The Wasp Woman". While that was good, this is a letdown.

A totally fun, completely cheesy Corman monster film, Attack of the Giant Leeches features adulterers who are attacked by giant leeches in the swamp where they are engaging in their crime. What more can you ask for? A film that very obviously features men in plastic leech costumes, Attack of the Giant Leeches is still loads of fan for those who enjoy cheesy 50s sci-fi/horror fare.

Just a fun B-movie. the leechecs really don't look like leeches, and the special effects are cheap, but that's the fun of a film produced by Roger Corman. Other than the two main characters, the acting is quite bad, and the dialouge doesn't help. oh well, 1959 fun.

A camp classic! So bad it's good. Giant leeches (not of the Anthony kind) attack people...that's about it. The beauty of the film is realizing that they actually tried to make something scary here. People in garbage bags don't really scream "LEECH" to me...nor terror. It's a great comedy though!
