I only give it three stars because as a kid it was a bit scary. Made me wonder how much of the legend was accurately portrayed in the movie.

Well, I have to agree with everyone on this, it scared the life out of me when I saw it as a child. Would it still scare me now though? I would like to see it again, from what I can remember it was well done. The creature was always lurking just out of view of the camera, so you never knew what it really looked like.

This is a docudrama film, supposedly containing interviews of people that have seen a sasquatch-type animal known as the "Fouke Monster." It takes place in the woods around Fouke, Arkansas. It also has narrated recreations of encounters with this beast. This is suposedly based on true stories. It's a pretty simple script with below par acting and below par camera techniques....but it is still better than The Blair Witch Project and will tell you about their famous monster. If nothing else, it will make you take another look at the famous Patterson-Gimlin film from Bluff Creekand ask yourself....."Could these really be out there?"

Legend of Boggy Creek scorer a point or two for its early use of documentary style film but it is so dull and poorly acted that I quickly lost interest.
