The Reaping (2007)

Katherine Morrissey, a former Christian missionary, lost her faith after the tragic deaths of her family. Now she applies her expertise to debunking religious phenomena. When a series of biblical plagues overrun a small town, Katherine arrives to prove that a supernatural force is not behind the occurrences, but soon finds that science cannot explain what is happening. Instead, she must regain her faith to combat the evil that waits in a Louisiana swamp.

FANTASTIC!!! I Absolutely loved this movie. I loved every single character! Hilary Swank did fantastic as always.

this is a really great flick. it's dumb as can be, but it's really pretty, it moves really fast, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. it's the first and only "dark castle" production to really live up to its promise.

I think I'm bias against movies with religious creases in them... but there is no way this movie would have worked without it. I approve of this movie and it's actually something to make you think about your choices in life... religious or not.
