for being such an old flick... this was pretty fucking grusome. i thought it was well put together and all, the only bad thing about it was the cheesy fucking music. i do realize why this movie was banned in 53 countries. lol. if you get the chance you should deff find this movie and watch it... at night... lol. i was literally fuckin grossed out

The tag says it, the most controversial movie ever made. Blair Witch long before its time, an Italian horror about a documentary crew that goes into the rain forest and films cannibals-- but it goes too far, way too far. There is a successful horror film in here, successful at disturbing the audience with a message about the nature of man (in this collision of the 20th century and the stone age) and gore that to this day, seems all too real-- but it's surrounded by scenes of the crew hunting, killing, and cooking animals. There is simply no excuse for such. You'll want to take a shower after you watch it.

Cannibal Holocaust is nasty,sometimes VERY hard to watch,sick,horrible, you name it. It's a horror film in the most literal sense. It's not scary in the slightest ,it doesn't attempt to make you jump. The film has a powerful message about man's cruelty and violence. People being ripped open and eaten. A brief fake documentary showing disturbingly realistic executions and the list goes on, if you can stomach the inhumanity and graphicness of the violence, then Cannibal Holocaust is definitely a fun film to watch.
