Loved loved LOVED this movie. A lot. Everything from the story to the acting was fantastic. It's a hard core look at what stardom and the drive to be famous can do to a person.

Best Picture winner for 1950, this is the ultimate backstabbing, rumor has it, catfight, diva show ever made. The script snap, crackles, and pops. The performances are delightfully over-the-top and melodramatic. The storyline is still relevent today and the movie itself has aged well. This is a well made story about the price of fame and what we do to keep it. "Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night." Grade: A+

Those eyes sparkles, i would say the plot is timeless, so many wannabes, who will do whatever it takes to get that coveted statue cum fame, Ann Baxter is good but one cant outshine Ms Davies, she is the Ms. Margo Channing, period!
