Very misunderstood by YouTubers, fans, and critics alike. It *is* a prequel. but that designation doesn't mean this film needs to perfectly fit into the beginning of Alien and answer every single question (examples: Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One, The Thing 2011).This film looks unique and has a stellar theme, tone, and message.

I can honestly say I would be biased I love prometheus and I love I love Ridley Scott anything that has to do with Aliens.

prometheus is one of the best sci-fi movies of the last decade. watch it two times ... it gets better ... watch it three times ... it gets better ... watch it multiple times ... at some point even the hard critics or dimwits must realize how ingenious this movie is and how it fits into the alien-universe.
