I *loved* this movie! What's wrong with people?!!! It was romantic without being cloying. It was sweet, with a gentle, understated pace. It had a bit of fantasy in it, but did not allow that or the occasional special effect to distract or overshadow the main story or characters. Great cast. Loved Will Smith as Lucifer ; ) I would not change a thing. Granted, I did not read the book, so I can enjoy the film on it's own merits. But the people who are hating on it need to get a heart.

Such a sweet tale, with all of the twists of a Sci-Fi, love story, and intriguing dialogue to keep your mind interested and wanting to see more.

what a beautiful movie, uplifting, filled with hope and magic in a time where all we are usually spoonfed is violence. acting by all was wonderful. would def buy for my library.

Strongly disagree with the critics. The movie is a tale! It says it in the title! I don't know why we people need to try to change something just to feed on our egos.
