Great movie about love, the Cheyenne and Crow...and a man reuniting with his family

Its a classic. I love it, even if Trevor Howard (British actor) play Windwalker. But, its a wonderful story and amazing scenery,and of coz.. it was one of the first "native" movie that showed the natives as the natives, and not as savages. (as they often did in the 60s - and 70s.)

The old "Chief Theatre" in bemidji was PACKED with Anishinabe every night for a week when this movie was first released , lucky we got a ticket ..LOL

This is an exceptional movie..which i now own after alot of searching--lol--i first saw it at the theatre as a child & it peeked my intrest in Native Americans it's a great movie
