What to Do in Case of Fire? (2001)

The humorous and touching story of six former creative anarchists who lived as house squatters in Berlin during its heyday in the 80s when Berlin was still an island in the middle of the former East Germany. At the end of the 80s, they went their separate ways with the exception of Tim and Hotte, who have remained true to their ideals and continue to fight the issues they did as a group. In 2000, with Berlin as Germany's new capital, an event happens forcing the group out of existential reason to reunite and, ultimately, come to terms with the reason they separated 12 years ago.

This is entertaining but the longer it goes the more issues there are with the plot.

fun, seems a little too straightforward for me, there was no twists no turns, still good though. the ending blows.

thought v stylish when i first saw this film 10 yrs ago. one of the films those made me want to visit berlin. i felt the use of manic street preachers, radiohead, richard ashcroft etc was a bit embarassing and the story itself was quite like late 90s - early 00s.

I loved the movie! What can I say, they did it in my most beloved parts of Berlin, and the theme of the movie.. well, ok, few episodes could have been cut, they're not neccesary at all, but still it's an amazing movie which is totally worth seeing.
