Ouch... Les effets speciaux ont terriblement vieilli et l'histoire est sensiblement ridicule... Certaines scenes sont neanmoins interessantes. Globalement, vaut la peine d'etre vu pour ceux qui s'interessent a l'histoire des effets speciaux...

Two things a little boy liked most when I was a lad, cowboys and dinosaurs!... and this movie has both! I couldn't wait to see this when I was a kid and even remember having the coloring book. A bunch of cowboys discover a hidden valley in Mexico inhabitied by dinosaurs animated by the legendary Ray Harryhausen. They bring allosaurus Gwangi back to civilization and... I think you can guess what happens. Still has plenty of charm and, just like when I was kid, I still find myself rooting for the dinosaurs.

This movie is genius. Pure pulp genius. Cowboys, dinosaurs, circuses, Mexico, I don't even get it, it's amazing.

This is my favorite movie of all time. I love the continuity of this film, when the cowboy fights the pterodactyl. That is my favorite scene ever. It made my dreams of movies being real (cheezy) come true.

In theory, this should at least be four stars. Cowboys and dinosaurs coexisting? That sounds amazing but unfortunatly it doesn't realy deliver fully. The only real appeal here is Harryhausen's animation. It is, of course, nothing less than incredible. The rest is a little silly.
