With its god-awful acting, effects, and characters (other than Hook and Schmee), this is one awful piece of cinema. I am so sorry.

The live action version of Peter Pan isn't so bad. The actor playing Peter Pan does a nice job with the role, and the movie is somewhat magical. That being said, it didn't match the magic of the original.

Ian Nathan 17 Mar 2009

Definitely a Disney classic but misses out much of the darker side of J.M.Barrie's fantasy tale.

Ann Hornaday 20 Mar 1968

Imbued with a greater degree of psychological darkness than before.

Jean Oppenheimer 02 Mar 2017

The film provides solid entertainment for kids but lacks any real sense of wonder and magic.
