I don't usually give movies 5 stars.. this made oceans 11 look like complete shit. The camera work was ridiculous. People got lit the fuck up too.

A perfect, classic story of mass pwnag3. Never once gets boring or weighted down, interesting and intense the entire time. Script is tense, smart, and unpredictable, with an unforgettable ending. Kubrick continues his streak of never making a film I don't absolutely love.

I never even herd of this movie until it came TCM and I caught it by chance; and boy am I ever glad I did! I always considered myself a pretty hardcore Kubrick fan, so I was ashamed of not having herd of this one... Well, I love the "dated" dialog, the non-sequential plot, that classic noir feeling... and at the end of the day, it is yet another movie that has made me lose a little more respect for Tarantino (wake up people, not much he does is original or very inspired!) The Killing is a must see for any Kubrick fan, but be warned, it is more like a Humphrey Bogart noir of that time, than anything else that Kubrick did.
