The Identical (2014)

During the Great Depression, identical twins are separated at birth. One, Drexel Hemsley becomes a wildly successful '50s rock star, while the other, Ryan Wade, struggles to balance his passion for music and pleasing his parents, who want him to become a preacher. Finally, Ryan rebels against his parents' wishes and launches his own music career -- performing the hits of Drexel Hemsley. Ryan later learns the truth about Drexel when their fates tragically collide.

The movie was awesome!!!!! You don't have to be religious to love it!!!!!!! It was a movie that made you laugh and cry at the same time but I left feeling good. Didn't miss the violence, sex or vulgarity!!!!!!! Such a great movie. Would def. See again!!!!!!!!!

I loved this movie! I guess this culture has little value for redemption. So many redeeming qualities woven into this film. I felt so happy, encouraged, and uplifted when I left. I guess reviewers don't appreciate these qualities much anymore.

Well my husband and I loved this, the music was great....it touched us....maybe because it was without sex and violence some could not appreciate it, I found that itself refreshing.

The movie was amazingly wonderful! The music, the whole plot and even the emotions that came along with it. The story is based off of love, emotions, finding his way and even knowing what his calling is. Not only falling into the movie and the motions, but also the story plot, it's based around Lebanon, TN and Nashville, TN. The critics may not like it or have something harsh to say, but those that know what the goal of this movie is will absolutely LOVE it. If someone loved Gods Not Dead, they're bound to love this!
