This made-for-cable opus, halfway between documentary and docudrama, is willing to try anything and everything except for a consistent relationship to its material.

More of a camp pop-culture tribute to the soap-opera-ish Tammy Faye than an incisive look at the evangelical world that she and other religious figures once played a lucrative role in.

excellent documentary of tammy faye before she became really ill and died of cancer. but this documentary is very well made, if you dont know much about this lady, it will open your mind and make you realize why she was the way she was and why even though major tragedies happened to her, she never lost her faith. A MUST SEE.

Tammy Faye has been a caracature of herself for so long it was almost impossible to think of her without conjuring up an image of a hysterical woman with black mascara running down her face. I've never been a fan of Tammy Faye, but this documentary helps the audience see her as a real person with more than a few redeeming qualities.

A great documentary on Tammy Faye Messner, former co-host of the PTL network. If you're not into religion, this will still will entertain. She is such a role model for the under dog. She teaches that you should love everyone!
