Amazing, epic, spiritual. Beginning, middle and the end: satisfying all the way through

I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise. That being said, this movie is amazing. Those who really enjoyed the film were inspired by breathtaking landscapes, a code of honor that may not have been their own, but were able to learn and love the characters, and their way of life. Heavily romanticized, Katsumoto is the true warrior poet cliche, and Algren like myself, have come to love the japanese culture. Beautiful movie, Excellent dialogue, Characters you truly care about, Heartache, Honor, Battle. Give this movie a fair shot, and you won't be disappointed.

The last Samurai is by far my favorite movie ever made. It is not historically accurate whatsoever but still does an amazing job of capturing the samurai's era in time. Tom Cruise does an outstanding job of capturing the character Nathan Algren, giving him more depth than i would have previously imagined. The movie is about the relationship between Nathan Algren and Katsumoto who are insanely different people but still become close friends by the end of the movie. I can not express in words my appreciation for this movie and cast.

One of my favorite moves. Critics are bad- remember when they gave avatar a 50 and then it sold as much as Titanic the scores magically jumped to the 90?s? The last samurai is pretty much a perfect Hollywood movie.

Here was another I saw but totally forgot (good part of brain damage). These kind of movies made me sad, and it makes you wonder who the barbarians are. As an end not, Tom looked HOT with long hair and a beard. haha
