The most beautiful movie that I've ever seen...and the best soundtrack that I've ever listen...It is about fate... (this movie was inspired by Szymborska's poem "Love by first sight"

i wasn't quite prepared for the (slower) pace of the opening half-hour. but somewhere are half-hour + 1 minute, i became enamored of the whole movie--the actors, the characters, the music, camera angles, the polish.

Kieslowski has a wonderful perspective of the world and it deserves to be seen. "The Decalogue" and "Three Colours" trilogy both are epic in scope, but this film stands on its own. Irene Jacob gives two great performances in this thoughtful film about life and choice.
