As with most Kieslowski films, this defies easy categorisation. Strikingly beautiful almost infuriatingly enigmatic. Wonderful.

One of my favorite movies... The first Kieslowski I saw. Since seeing this, I became a big fan of him.

In my opinion, this ranks alongside Kieslowski's Red as one of the most beatifully imagined films of the last twenty five years. Irene Jacob is beautiful and a joy to watch. Preisner's score is extraordinary. A most engaging, complex and thought-provoking film.

I don't really know what to say... It was beautiful. And very interesting. There's a lot there, and it's very deep, but it accomplishes everything so simply. I loved it.
