In 2004, Hope Ann Greggory became an American hero after winning the bronze medal for the women's gymnastics team. Today, she's still living in her small hometown, washed-up and embittered. Stuck in the past, Hope must reassess her life when a promising young gymnast threatens her local celebrity status.

Two thumbs up, or the other gesture I learned in this film, more fittingly. Most quotable film I've seen in a LONGGG time!!

Count me in. A gymnast told me she loved it - and I'm guessing that this will become a cult film for women athletes. As for me, it's a throwback to those trashy drive-in comedies of the 70s and 80s like ROCK AND ROLL HIGH SCHOOL, HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD, REVENGE OF THE CHEERLEADERS, etc., that made youthful moviegoing a scream in those "innocent" days before home video spoiled half the fun. Writer/star Melissa Rauch is too young to have experienced those days first-hand - but she sure knows what made them work. If you enjoy the film, don't forget to stick around for Rauch's hilarious rap song that plays over the end credits. As to that 68% of "critics" who hated it - don't trust anyone under 40.

The critics are WAY off from an audience standpoint..it's a love letter to smalltown America, a study of stunted fame, and it had the packed theater I was in laughing hysterically. Bravo, BRONZE!!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! FUNNY, FUNNY. Relentless and unstoppably funny. Nice to see a woman playing an antihero type for a change. Side note: Melissa Rauch, will you marry me??
