This is a good movie involving a family coming to the California town of Santa Clara. This town though they think is a perfect way for them to begin their new life, but the town holds a sinister secret...it is a haven for vampires. So, the first son Sam becomes leery of them and what's to stop them once his oldest brother Michael becomes enticed by them and turns into a vampire himself. This is a good 80's vampire movie that did revolutionize it in some way as in forms of prosthetics and filming style. Gritty dark film, Joel Schumacher does a good job bringing characters and story to life, with a great cast this is a good vampire movie you should see! 10 out of 10.

AWESOME CULT CLASSIC This is just a fun movie you've got the Coreys, and YOUNG Jack Bauer (Kiefer) and the eternally hot Jami Gertz Its fun, its funny, its gorey. Its a classic Give it a try . . . but stay away from number 2

A fun movie, but it's really style over substance here. As a movie with the two Coreys, it's classic, but as a film on its own, it's not really that hot. Not to say that it doesn't have anything going for it: Jason Patrick seems more like he's auditioning for a part in the Jim Morrison movie instead of acting; also the other guy from Bill N Ted is in here. Then there's the homoerotic relationship between Haim and Patrick that always brings a chuckle or two. If you want to see what 80s horror was about, I'd much rather recommend 'Fright Night' as the ultimate example. Still, Jaime Gertz is in this, semi-retarded, and totally hot.
