I was literally blown away when I watched this movie ! Jamie Foxx was just brilliant ! His whole portrayal of Ray Charles was just mind blowing ! The singing was also just a joy to watch ! Everything in this movie was just done so well ! Hands down to Jamie Foxx

"Ray" is one of the best movies I have seen in my life. Jamie Foxx plays Ray Charles and does a simply masterful job of portraying him in this role. He sings in this one and even gets the head bob that Ray Charles had down beautifully. He does such an amazing job in this one--it's no wonder he won an Academy Award for this movie. Jamie Foxx shows why he's one of the best entertainers of this generation--nobody can act and sing at the same levels that he can. He's so gifted and in this movie--his talents shine through brightly. The movie is about the life of Ray Robinson, who was known by many as "Ray Charles". It's an excellent movie and if you haven't had the opportunity to see this award winner--you are truly missing out. Check out this masterpiece of a performance that Jamie Foxx delivers!! There is none better!!
