Throughout, the movie is in a jet-lagged, dreamy state. Are things really happening, or are we in a half-dream-half-awake state? It achieves this brilliantly. Does love have an expiration date? After 8 yrs of marriage, is love what it once was? The movie explores these issues. In the end, the couple discover what love can be.

It seems the audience is divided between people who thought it too slow, and those, like me, that enjoyed the accurate atmosphere the director patiently created.
