American Beauty is heavy. But the Academy made a good choice with this masterpiece. Strong performances, a great script and the talent of Sam Mendes are really present.

Kevin Spacey is just priceless in this film! This is genius storytelling to the max, and I can't think of anything else to say, except, a tour de force!!

Obcutki? O filmu ves vse. Tudi to, da mu nikakor ne bo uspelo priplezati cez 4... pa se na sredini ogleda premislis in ga zakolicis pri 4 in pol. Vendar ti je 20min pred koncem jasno, da bo padla petica. In pritisk na pojenja; ce bi lahko, bi se stevilo zvezdic dvignilo se visje. Taksna je... lepota po amerisko' ;)

It is too bad that Kevin Spacey turned out to be an even bigger pervert in real life than he plays in this film. It kind of taints how amazing this movie is. However, if you have the ability to separate the art from the artist, then I still say you should all watch this movie. It has been one of my all time favorites for years...but Spacey's personal life may make you want to skip it.
