The great wonder of Paterson is that it makes a compelling tale of an apparently blissful life.

Carried by an appropriately low-key Adam Driver and Jarmusch's casual genius for capturing offhand remarks, Paterson is his most absorbing character study since "Broken Flowers" -- and far more grounded in real life. There's no context necessary to recognize it as his most personal work.

The quiet beauty of this film was a surprise for me. I loved the way the poetry writing process was portrayed on screen so artistically. It really inspires me to think about poetry in a different way. Adam Driver delivered such a fully fleshed out acting performance, portraying an introspective bus driver in a way that makes you believe that this must be a real person out there somewhere. Absolutely recommend this movie to anybody!
