I just love it. Alexander Payne is a favorite director of mine and he made quite a movie with this one. Nicholson as a man looking to make a difference toward the end of his life is one of my favorite performances he has ever given. The last shot of his face makes the whole movie worth it.

"About Schmidt" is a beautiful, heartwarming, emotionally engaging and I can go on with the good comments. " Jack Nicholson delivered a moving, mellow, and calm performance. He's at his very best... Couldn't be better!" The rest of the cast performances are at there very best! The directing by Alexander Payne is thrilling. The score is really good. "I'm raving this is one of the best Jack Nicholson's best movie I ever seen by him!" "An excellent movie from start to finish."
