One of the best films Tom has done, And he was seriously robbed the year he was nominated for this and never won. A true story that lets you know exactly how shitty the u.s. treats these guys after going to a foreign place to fight for their country.

Tom Cruise delievers outstanding strength in his portrayal of Ron Kovic which is done powerfully. A great Oliver Stone movie. Its emotional but yet surrounded by happiness on what the character is archieving in his return from the war of Vietnam despite his trauma. Great movie, very touching and moving and its a war based drama picture that will never be forgotten. Courage is a word to describe the superior that is Kovic. Probably Tom Cruises best performance.

- on hd dvd - Oliver Stone is a fantastic director but sometimes let's his political bias get in the way of fact. In this case however that does not happen and we get a fantastic genuine tale of the aftermath of the horror that was Vietnam. A lot of people dislike Tom Cruise but he is fantastic in this movie. As he is in many films but people can't look past his religion. Great movie, possibly the only film more depressing than Requiem For A Dream.
