Moonraker (1979)

After Drax Industries' Moonraker space shuttle is hijacked, secret agent James Bond is assigned to investigate, traveling to California to meet the company's owner, the mysterious Hugo Drax. With the help of scientist Dr. Holly Goodhead, Bond soon uncovers Drax's nefarious plans for humanity, all the while fending off an old nemesis, Jaws, and venturing to Venice, Rio, the Amazon...and even outer space.

not bad pretty futuristic and good plot. LOl @ jaws when he fell in love

They say nothing succeeds like excess, or succes is excess, or something like that. This over-the-top Bond film was incredible. An awesome villain in Michael Lonsdale, unbelieveably complex stunts (all pre-CG) and a great score.

Very good James Bond flick. In this case I do believe the rating I gave this movie not indicative of how good the movie is. Good movie, but I thought it was great. This is not your traditional bond movie. The climactic end to the movie takes a twist not seen in any other Bond movie, it's in outers space. Being 1979, I believe that they were trying to capitalize on the popularity of Star Wars. Not to mention the many Star Wars references in this movie. I definitely am recommending this movie. You'll find it good, but if you like Star Wars or science fiction movies you'll love this movie! =)

Perhaps one of the most hilarious Bond movies I've ever seen, especially because it turns into a sort of cheesy sci-fi film at the end.
