Moonraker (1979)

After Drax Industries' Moonraker space shuttle is hijacked, secret agent James Bond is assigned to investigate, traveling to California to meet the company's owner, the mysterious Hugo Drax. With the help of scientist Dr. Holly Goodhead, Bond soon uncovers Drax's nefarious plans for humanity, all the while fending off an old nemesis, Jaws, and venturing to Venice, Rio, the Amazon...and even outer space.

This is the 11th James bound movie. It is better then the first 10. For your eyes only is better, But still this movie has a great story line. It also has great acting. See it.

While not on par with Goldfinger or Goldeneye, Moonraker is an overall fun and enjoyable Bond flick!

ich dachte eigentlich immer, MOONRAKER sei der groÃ?e ausrutscher unter den moore-bonds. weit gefehlt. tatsÃ¤chlich ist das hier bis zum stellaren finale - das nebenbei visuell ganz wunderbar geraten ist - einer der weniger zersplitterten filme aus moores phase und wesentlich geschlossener als noch der unmittelbar vorhergehende THE SPY WHO LOVED ME. der plot ist sehr gradlinig, die action eher mittelbeeindruckend, aber dafÃ¼r Ã¼berzeugen das set design, die bildgestaltung und auch der score voll und ganz und sind zu den highlights der reihe zu zÃ¤hlen.

One of the best Bond movies. "Moonraker" is so outlandish, so grand in scale, full of exciting action and bigger-than-life world-domination plans by its villain. It never knows when to quit, which in the case of this movie is a good thing.
