Agent 007 is back in the second installment of the James Bond series, this time battling a secret crime organization known as SPECTRE. Russians Rosa Klebb and Kronsteen are out to snatch a decoding device known as the Lektor, using the ravishing Tatiana to lure Bond into helping them. Bond willingly travels to meet Tatiana in Istanbul, where he must rely on his wits to escape with his life in a series of deadly encounters with the enemy.

I love this film. I can sit back and watch this movie multiple times and never feel tired of the movie. What makes this THE best bond is Connery himself, he finds the reight niche for Bond where he can be funny and charming at one point, but violent and ruthless when it was necessary. The screenplay deserves much of the credit as it goes to it point and mold an identity for all of the characters involved. The action is the film is first rate as it holds up very well for a film that's almost fifty years old. Young Bond fans NEED to see this film to gai an understanding as to why James Bond is the icon he is.

The ultimate Bond movie. I thought Connery was a bit off in Dr. No but he really got going here.

This Bond outing has one of the best plots of the entire series! It's a slice of greatCold War nostalgia.

Bond is back, and he's better this time around. Connery is more comfortable in the role for his second go round. A superb film that is better than the previous chapter and that continues to lay solid foundations for the long running series.
