Best. Bond. Ever. The underwater battle is absolutely brilliant - though it's only flaw is the fact that it doesn't get bloody until the sharks show up. But that's easily forgiven, it's this scene that makes Thunderball my favorite Bond movie. Great villain, hot babes, thrilling action, perfect quips. Only Goldfinger and Casino Royale (with Daniel Craig, natch) come close to being this awesome.

I enjoyed this movie because of the underwater shots mostly; the action was good last moments of the movie puts you on the edge of your seat

I think it is the best of the early Bond movies. SPECTRE wants to destroy the world again an here comes Bond to save the day.

The enemy organisation S.P.E.C.T.R.E. is going broke, so they hijack a Vulcan Bomber plane and use the warheads on board as a way to threaten the world if a ransom is not paid. MI6 sends in James Bond (Sean Connery) to investigate and prevent the disaster from happening. Also stars Adolfo Celi, Claudine Auger, Rick Van Nutter, Luciana Paluzzi, Martine Beswick, Lois Maxwell, Bernard Lee and Desmond Llewelyn. directed by Terence Young.
