Jake Gyllenhall is just so sexy, and Anne Hathaway is my favourite actress. Together, they have so much chemistry in this film, and at times Anne Hathaway was just heartbreaking. A really emotional film, really funny in parts and a great storyline.

I will call this a chick flick but I really enjoyed it. Great acting all around but Super chemistry between Jack Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway!

Considering its polarizing genres, between sexual comedy and romantic drama, it doesn't surprise me that reviews are so divided... However, as unrealistic as the story may be as a whole (and it has every right to be, like all movies), I find these sort of dramatic emotional shifts to be far closer to reality than most films. It's unrealistic in all the right places (for entertainment's sake), while managing to be poignant in ways that truly mirror such patterns of real life.
