It got fairly preachy at points. Which was irritating, but I can understand the implied need for greater awareness about little people. This was a potentially great story about two people who fall in love in an unexpected circumstance but I feel like it was afraid to go there when it shouldn't have been. If Gary and Kate's relationship had been a little more the focus of the movie and Matt's struggle to come to terms with his situation more of a side story, the movie would have sat much better with me. I thought Gary and Kate were great with what they were given. I just wish there had been more.

This is not one of the worst movies I have seen so I can not figure out why people anyway do not like the movie. It is a pretty funny drama that sometimes makes you laugh and sometimes makes you realize what our precedences are. I also captured the lives of the dwarfs, how hard times they have during their growth. They seem to ve different but they own the same feelings just like the other people. About the movie, Gary Oldman plays a magnificent role as a little man. I really appreciate his performance. Besides, Kate did o good job as a mother who accepts what her child could be.The screenplay may not be enough for someones but I found the movie quite interesting that I have not imagined how the dwarfs can live inside the big people.

How was this movie made? I mean honestly. Also, why cast Oldman when there are plenty of little people who could have filled the role? It's interesting how offensive the entire movie is. I assume this was something like the Producers in real life.
