a fun film about love and dealing with dwarfism in prejudiced times

This is not one of the worst movies I have seen so I can not figure out why people anyway do not like the movie. It is a pretty funny drama that sometimes makes you laugh and sometimes makes you realize what our precedences are. I also captured the lives of the dwarfs, how hard times they have during their growth. They seem to ve different but they own the same feelings just like the other people. About the movie, Gary Oldman plays a magnificent role as a little man. I really appreciate his performance. Besides, Kate did o good job as a mother who accepts what her child could be.The screenplay may not be enough for someones but I found the movie quite interesting that I have not imagined how the dwarfs can live inside the big people.

Certainly off beat and original. Surprisingly good performances from all, especially Gary Olman and Kate Beckinsale. Good characterizations, they are well developed and interesting. I never lost interest in the film.
