One of my Top 5 favorites, "In the Bedroom" is probably the most underrated movie in history. Incredible acting, writing, and directing make this movie one of the best.

This is a movie that is so heartbreaking, so real, so emitional. It is a true masterpiece. Spacek and Wilkinson give performances that are truly outstanding. The film set in 3 very clear parts, the first introdcues us to the chacaters, the second is after a horrific event takes place, and devastating effects they have, and the third is about revenge. This movie is as powerful as anything i have ever seen, and is paced so perfectly to have a looming sense of dread. A truly superb piece of filmaking!

This was the film that really taught me about how rewarding and fascinating it can be to truly empathize with a character. It's not the film's plot that captivates, nor is it the style, it's the characters themselves, and anyone interested in human interaction and behavior will find rich rewards here. Tom Wilkinson gives one of the best performances I've ever seen in a film.

A gripping movie about the justice system and revenge. The time passes fast even though it's slow paced. Powerful stuff.

This movie confirms that Tom Wilkinson is one of THE most underappreciated actors out there today!
