Born under unusual circumstances, Benjamin Button springs into being as an elderly man in a New Orleans nursing home and ages in reverse. Twelve years after his birth, he meets Daisy, a child who flits in and out of his life as she grows up to be a dancer. The story of a fascinating life, rather than a beginning-middle-end narrative. Love this one.

Benjamin Button is an absolute masterpiece and is probably one of the greatest films of all time.

This is the easiest way to feel borderline-suicidal, as no film has ever made me feel more depressed than this. Gently paced, richly scripted, finely edited, thorough plotting and expertly performed, alongside the bone-chillingly realistic makeup and merciless portrayal of death as the true end of the road, 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' is gravely sad, but classic and epic all the way.
