Youthful Father Chuck O'Malley led a colorful life of sports, song, and romance before joining the Roman Catholic clergy. A charming, old-Hollywood film. I didn't think there was anything so remarkable about it, but they don't really make them like this anymore.

"Swinging on a Star", and many other songs sung by Father Bing Crosby the King of American crooners, great songs, great acting and all round great film. Academy Award winning film for Best Picture.

What I like best about the movie is the children singing Three Blind Mice! I have always wanted to be Jefferson Smith. Failure? Well, I am gonna be Father Chuck O' Malley! Easygoing person, isn't he?

A charming heart-warming tale that preaches a worthy message. Bing Crosby is the real reason to see this film. He turns in a wonderful performance.

The only reason I watched this movie was because it had Barry Fitzgerald in it, he always plays a great role,I don't however like Bing.
