Excellent follow up to Going My Way. Crosby and Bergman both did a superb job.

It's a good movie, but I really don't understand why it's thought of as a Christmas movie. Bing sings a Christmas hymn and the first-graders put on a little Christmas skit, but Christmas isn't at all the focus of the movie, which chronicles happenings throughout the school-year. Maybe it's because its original release was in December? (And gotta give it props for being on the marquis in "It's a Wonderful Life" when George Bailey is running through town happy because he wants to live again.)

Charming. I saw for the first time a few summers ago and even though it's considered a Christmas film, when June comes along I have this need to watch it.
